Introduction

After a few years of studying, working on projects, learning new skills and figuring out what kind of designer I want to be, my time at school has officially come to an end.

Alongside finishing my studies, I also recently completed my internship at ESPN, part of The Walt Disney Company. It was a great opportunity to experience what it is like to work in a professional creative environment and to work on projects for a major brand.

Looking back, both school and my internship have taught me a lot. Not only about design, but also about working with others, handling feedback, solving problems and developing my own style.

What I learned

1. Developing my style
   During my studies, I experimented with a lot of different styles, techniques and types of design. Over time, I started to understand more about what I enjoy making and what kind of designer I want to become.

2. Working in a professional environment
   My internship at ESPN gave me the chance to put what I learned at school into practice. Working on real projects and receiving feedback from experienced designers taught me a lot that you simply can't learn from a classroom.

Looking back

Finishing school and my internship feels like the end of one chapter, but also the start of something new.

I'm grateful for all the people I've met, projects I've worked on and lessons I've learned along the way.

The next step

Now that school is finished and my internship at ESPN has come to an end, I'm ready for the next step.

I'm looking forward to continuing to develop myself as a designer, working on new projects and seeing where this next chapter takes me.
